For reasons no one really cares to question, every refrigerator in the neighborhood has broken all at once. So naturally, rather than calling a repairman, or Rod Serling, the only logical solution you can come up with is for you and your neighbors to get together and prepare an unreasonable amount of food before everything goes bad. Of course it doesn't take long before things get competitive, with everyone trying to take credit for every dish they happen to toss a few onions into. You have to plan carefully, but act quickly, every time you need to open your fridge, cold air escapes, and your food is spoiling at an alarming rate. Frigid is a fast-paced competitive resource management/area control game for 2-5 players. Each player is managing ingredient tiles in their refrigerator, and trying to use them to complete recipes on a rotating board, with the majority of each recipe scoring VPs.
