From the introduction: In the Magocracy of Allain, far to the west of the Leukos River, sits the farming hamlet of Belcassel. The settlement is named after Belcassel House, a decaying keep that squats atop a nearby hill. The keep is named after the Bell family, which has overseen the community for generations.
