Forest Ambush

Publisher's blurb: Birds tweet and bicker among the tall redwood trees, as rabbits dart in and out of the burrows they’ve dug by the roots. A small creek meanders it’s way through the woodlands creating small ponds where deer come to drink while the thick moss that grows here, gives off an earthy smell and sprawls across the forest floor towards the dirt trade roads where fresh blood has been spilled… Dozens of guards bodies also lie mutilated around an empty broken cart, it’s cargo long gone.
