The game is played on a square 12 x 12 board with holes in it. During setup, twelve pins are put in the holes, and both players now place two elastic bands (Warp Bands) from one board side to another, wrapping them around the pins. The object of the game is to free your Warp Bands (those placed by your opponent) so that they no longer touch a pin. To accomplish this, both players take turns in which they place a pin on the board and remove another pin. This placement is restricted: each hole on the boards shows one of six symbols, and the hole from which a pin is removed must carry the same symbol as the hole in which a pin is placed.
