From the back of the box: The year is 2012. Conventional Chinese forces invade Kazakhstan, commandeering natural resources to sustain its recent economic boom. The Unity States, in defense of the Russia/Kazakh border, intends to contain China. Attempts at diplomacy fail, and the conflict quickly escalates into World War III. You are the machine of war.
