Forbiddance

From publisher blurb: The old priest’s faith wavers, and with a snarl, the ancient vampire lord rips the crucifix from his hands and snaps it in two. Without the correct rites, without the correct acts of purification and holiness, without the correct mindset and without sufficient courage exorcism cannot work. Only the holiest and strongest willed clerics can turn undead; lesser priests lack the faith and confidence necessary to drive away the unliving. Forbiddance is a variant rule for D20 fantasy gaming, which can easily be included in modern magic and supernatural horror D20 Modern campaigns. Inspired by scenes in works like ‘Salem’s Lot and The Exorcist, Forbiddance adds a new layer of uncertainty and complexity to encounters with undead.
