Flying Swordsmen is a game of fantasy martial arts, where characters use swords, fists, spells, and more to battle other martial artists and monsters, and seek out new techniques or magic to improve their martial skill. The Stunt system allows players to create the sorts of wild and crazy abilities and moves seen in Wuxia (fantasy martial arts) movies and comics. designer's comment: For those of you who don't follow my blog, Flying Swordsmen is a wuxia/kung fu hack of D&D. It started out as a retroclone of Chris Pramas's Dragon Fist RPG (2E AD&D with kung fu) and became something a bit more. Also something a bit less, as I stripped out most of the lingering AD&D stuff. So think of it as Labyrinth Lord does Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, with a wild and open system for martial arts.
