From the introduction: Though Chaldea exists outside of time, every year without fail it’s Master spends at least a week or two trapped on a beach somewhere. Sometimes it’s something they did on purpose, but oftentimes it isn’t. However, while the beach may be a somewhat relaxing vacation compared to their normal job, there is something occurring that makes these “vacations” somewhat unpleasant.
