From publisher blurb: A Mid-Winter Harvest is a Saga for two to four characters and is intended to provide an introduction to Faeries Wear Boots: Age of Vikings. The burh (town) of Alnwick is described along with some of the tuns (villages or hamlets) surrounding it. The area has around 300-400 people who have all prepared for the bitter winter. The area has Christians, Vikings and Picts living side by side. It’s close to mid-winter, the coldest time in the year, and trouble is brewing. With tensions running high between the three factions a murder could spark a winter battle. The ealdorman is keeping the peace, but for how long? When an outlying tun mysteriously loses all its inhabitants, the characters are brought into the plot. Before the scenario starts the players must choose a side: Faeries, Picts, Vikings or Christians. This choice will determine where they are, what they do and who they talk to.
