The setting was crowd-sourced via Google+ and each contributor wrote about one hex, some of which have been subdivided into smaller hexes. The gazetteer has descriptions of the contents of each hex and some additional material. As with many OSR projects the target game is ambiguous, it could be used with any game which uses general early edition D&D structures. Many encounter descriptions give statistics in generic terms—based on early editions of D&D: race, class, level, hit dice, hit points, descending AC. Some encounter descriptions are in truly generic terms with no statistics attached. Alignment terms vary between single axis (law, neutral, chaos) and two axis (law, neutral, chaos plus good, neutral, evil).
