User Summary EA Sports Active 2.0 is EA’s 2010 addition to their fitness franchise. The game acts as a fitness program for the player and makes use of arm and leg motion sensors and a heart rate monitor. Active 2.0 offers a range of over 70 exercises to choose from, and a trainer-designed 9 week program applies progressive conditioning to help users get the most out of their workouts. The game includes a personal goal tracking system that will inform you how you are progressing and if you have met your goals, and the included heart monitor tracks on-screen to let you know how much exertion you are putting your body through. There are a number of online features associated with Active 2.0 as well, including means to post achievements and train with other like-minded individuals. The motion capture system included for the Wii will track every motion and translate it to the on-screen avatar. The PS3 and Xbox 360 editions make use of the Playstation Move and Kinect, respectively.
