Publisher's blurb: Down from the Minor Temples area, the Road of the Thousand Dead leads to the Crypts, the main burial ground for the commoners and low-level nobles of the Dwarven Depths. The Crypts area is a maze of catacombs and passageways. Even dwarves easily get lost in this labyrinth; for this reason each dwarven family has a “road to the death” map, sculpted in stone, which shows the route to their own sepulcher area. Unlike other areas, the Crypts features two, heavily guarded, access points only. This is for security reason because the dwarves are often buried with valuables and thus are target of tomb robbers. Even with these security measures, tombs are often plundered, maybe through unknown underground tunnels.
