From the introduction: Dungeons Daring is a so-called fantasy role-playing game, often simply abbreviated as Fantasy RPG. A Fantasy RPG is not a board game, a card game or anything of similar nature. It is instead a game where players create characters in a mythical world and a mythical time frame. In the case of Dungeons Daring, that time frame probably will have elements similar to the Dark and Middle Ages of our own real world, and the things to be found in that world will have roots in mythologies similar to those found in various parts of our own world.
