In addition to the standard, clear Dragonskin product, a large variety of licensed Dragonskin covers have been offered, varying primarily in the graphics and title used for "branding" the cover to a specific game line, or the graphics used to make the Dragonskin suitable to a particular genre. Most Dragonskin products were made from black vinyl, though other colors, including tan, were used. Many Dragonskin covers appeared in 1990 with reprints appearing abt. 1992/3 for the most-popular covers. The reprints often were revised with the enumeration "II" but retained the same product/part number as the original.
