User Summary Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen for the DS is the second remake of the original game. It was remade in 3D with a slightly altered immigrant town, enhanced upgrades, smoother graphics, and improved sound. The ability for the player to take manual control of their entire party in the final two chapters was also added. This version of the game contains an entirely new translation of the script and uses a new spell naming convention first used in Dragon Quest VIII.
