User summary: Characters in Downside have four Attributes (Tough, Cyber, Rogue, Psy) with one or more dice assigned to them at creation time, from a pool of eight dice. Characters also have Quirks (traits) that may impact game play. Conflict resolution is handled by rolling a dice pool (determined by the relevant Attribute) against a target number which may be the opponent's relevant ability roll.
