From the Getting Started section and Adventure Summary: Lucius Karstadt-Stampf, a member of the wealthiest merchant family in Ubersreik and youngest son of Hellin Karstadt- Stampf, the family matriarch, invites the Characters to the family manor. He claims that he wants to write an epic poem about their exploits, but, in fact, he fears for his life, and employs the Characters as bodyguards. Lucius has noticed some unusual goings on at the Karstadt- Stampf estate over the last few months. Servants have been acting strangely, and a number of the manor’s residents have met with untimely ends (or simply disappeared). Double Trouble is suitable for Characters on their second or third Careers. Less experienced Characters should create a backstory explaining why Lucius might plausibly have summoned them.
