From the introduction: The adventurers find themselves caught in the dwarven stronghold of Ironvale when it is suddenly attacked by orcs. A beleaguered guard captain turns to them for help. The adventure is a mission of mercy that just so happens to coincide with the adventurers saving their own hides.
