Dogfight is a set of freely available variant rules for use with the counters and data cards from the GMT WWII air combat game Wing Leader. It has evolved greatly since its first appearance in 2017, and now consists of two editions - Dogfight Lite which retains the generic simplicity of the first version, and Dogfight Deluxe which is a much more sophisticated and physically accurate system which differentiates between all the many available aircraft types. Both focus more than in Wing Leader on the fighting in the immediate vicinity of the bombers, and both reintroduce a third lateral dimension to the side-scrolling perspective, allowing flights to make player-controlled manoeuvres and chase one another's tails as they duel for advantage.
