Innan jag hade låtit det eviga mörkret tränga in i min själ och lägga en förlamande hand över min tankeverksamhet, tände Caladra ett häxljus. Stilla flöt en sfär av klart skinande, substanslöst ljus. Mörkret flydde undan och blev endast kvar som groteska skuggor vilka dansade på klippväggarna. Jag såg mig omkring. Här och var fanns svaga tecken på liv, mikroskopiska svampar som fläckvis bredde ut sig på stenväggarna. Äventyret Djupets fasor för dig långt ner i underjorden. Det utspelar sig i urgrottorna, fjärran från markens solbelysta nejder. Här möter rollpersonerna underjordens varelser i en skoningslös konfrontation. In this deep cave things could be encountered that belonged to the most terrifying moments in your nightmares. Before I had let the eternal darkness enter my soul and put a paralyzing hand over my consciousness, Caladra lighted up a witch candle. A sphere of clearly shining light without substance floated outwards calmly. The darkness went away and remained only as grotesque shadows, dancing on the rocky walls. I took a look at my surroundings. Here and there weak signs of life could be found, microscopic fungi cover spots on the stone walls. The adventure Perils of the Deep will take you far down into the underworld. It takes place in the primal caves, far from the sunlit countrysides of the lands above ground. The players will meet the creatures of the underground in a merciless confrontation. The adventure also contains a description of the city Nordsal and of the different creatures that live in the underworld.
