Objective: As a hero - collect as much gold as possible; as dragon - catch all heros; game ends after all gold is collected or all heros are caught/out of the game. - acting by turns - The dragon is placed in the centre of the board, each hero with two pieces of gold on his starting position; remaining gold (4 pieces) are placed at the far end of the cave. Players move according die roll forward, laterally or backwards. A '6' can be used only passing (stepping over) the dragon, otherwise not usable. Reaching a piece of gold it should be brought back to starting position. After each player's turn the dragon will move segmentally according die roll. A player hit by dragon's head is out of the game - unless he/she can pay a ransom (1 gold). note: likely published mid 1950's
