Death Slimes From Planet X

Publisher's blurb: You were on a science mission for the Planet Federation of Unity. A malfunction aboard your ship caused it to get too close to a black hole that sucked you through it's hungry maw. Hurdling through time and space your ship ultimately crashes on a desolate piece of rock. The ship is too banged up to fly but thanks to the undamaged proto-atmo generator all life support and food creation systems are fine and can last indefinitely. The first scout team sent out to explore your new home never came back. Only one member of the second team came back a bloody mess screaming out “CREATURES! DEATH!” just before he died. Subsequent trips beyond your ship solidified the threat. You've dubbed this rock prison, from which there seems no escape, Planet X. The dominate species, the alpha predator, of Planet X has become know as the Death Slimes. Can you find a way off Planet X and back home or can all you hope for is to survive?
