User summary: Death or Glory was created as a generic, universal system with support for various roleplaying genres. Medieval adapts the system to a traditional feudal setting. Note that magic may or may not be present in the setting, but if it is desired then the Realms of Magic Supplement must be utilized. The world presented in Medieval is particularly dark and gritty--there are no high civilizations, no gods, and no organized groups for good. There are minor kingdoms and everyone struggles to survive. Of all the settings provided for Death or Glory, Medieval has received the most playtesting and development.
