Publisher's blurb: 'Deadly Games' is a quick-adventure for a party of four 3rd level characters. Very little adaptation should be necessary to use in any campaign setting. Dangerous Games is an excellent 1st adventure for a party starting at 3rd level, or as a stand alone adventure during that time. Vampires can be replaced by bored nobles, or perhaps even experimental wizards. Either way, the party is kidnapped from their normal lives and brought together in 'The Trial'. Other potential names include: Gauntlet, Crucible, Baptism, Ordeal. The goal is simple. A fanged magic mouth spell, bloody letter, or perhaps some kind of black mirror is what the party first encounters. They are given a simple deal. “Your capture, dear cattle, forgive. Five trials and you can live. Our words, though fanged, are true. Fail, and we will feast on you!” The players, fully rested, have their equipment and are not harassed out of the room until the group has spells prepared and are otherwise ready.
