Dead or Alive 5 is the first console installment of the series that will be developed without the input of series creator Tomonobu Itagaki. It is also the first installment to be released for the PlayStation 3. Producer Yosuke Hayashi and his team are committed to making the environment more involved in the fighting experience than ever before.
