Description

User summary: The d20 Modern System Reference Document (MSRD) was published in 2003 by Wizards of the Coast and is based on d20 Modern. The MSRD allows for third-party publishers to freely produce material compatible with d20 Modern System. It also forms the basis for independent role-playing games from other publishers. The MSRD originally was offered as a series of sixty-two topically organized RTF files that collectively constituted the entire document. The original download page also included the option to download four topically grouped ZIP archives or a single ZIP archive - these archives contained the same content. The MSRD often was accompanied by supplemental files, such as the OGL, licensing materials, and introductory guides. These materials were not considered part of the MSRD.
