Description

From publisher blurb: D20 Go is a complete roleplaying game streamlined for asynchronous play-by-post but still complete enough to be played around the tabletop. Inspired by older editions of Dungeons and Dragons, D20 Go is flexible enough to let you create any kind of character and any kind of fantasy story you want. The core rulebook includes everything you need to play. Roleplay anywhere, any time. Features of D20 Go: Only seven classes to learn, but these classes can create any character you can imagine. Ability scores, skills, and powers are simplified into Traits so you have descriptors instead of numbers. Combat is handled in one round - Players roll 3d20 to represent the entire scene. The GM determines the outcome, but the players get to narrate how it happened. Spells and monsters are designed to promote story rather than to just add flavor to combat. The core book includes a campaign setting with three realms, each focusing on one of the primary species: the mercantile humans, the mysterious elves, and the innovative goblins. Any fantasy campaign setting or module can be converted to D20 Go in just a few minutes.
