From the introduction: This adventure takes place immediately following the characters' successful completion of another adventure. The adventurers are attending a ceremony to receive a commendation for their bravery and to celebrate the completion of the previous quest. The royal NPCs and location of the ceremony may be adapted to the characters' current setting, but the intent is that the ceremony is taking place in a grand palace and is being hosted by the rulers of a mid to large sized kingdom. The kingdom must be one that borders the ocean, and the characters must return to the capital city upon completion of their previous quest. The characters must not be natives of the kingdom. ...
