An Expansion for Waterdeep: Dragon Heist Publisher's blurb: Cruel Summer is an extension to Waterdeep:Dragon Heist which continues the Summer story arc and the tale of the Cassalanters. On the night of their Founders' Day celebration, the Cassalanters' twin children disappear from their bedroom, pawns in a terrible demonic plot. If the party can find them before time runs out, the children may yet be saved from the terrible fate that awaits them- but if the party fails, a new menace will gain a foothold in the City of Splendors! This illustrated and professionally edited supplement features two new factions, three new NPCs and four new mapped locations. It also weaves in locations and characters from the Spring, Fall and Winter storylines, so your players will still get to interact with Xanathar, Jarlaxle and Manshoon as they race across the city in search of the Cassalanter twins. Most importantly, it grants the party a chance to choose a new fate for the unfortunate Cassalanter children (if you're read the book, you know what I mean). It will take skill, courage and luck, but the party might find themselves in a position to re-negotiate a certain deal, on different and perhaps better terms.
