Publisher's blurb: This is the 84th in an ongoing series aimed to provide the overworked DM with ready-to run encounters. The PCs encounter the denizens of Crater Bay. Will they find a great treasure on the bottom of the bay or join the bones moldering on the sea floor? In the days of the ancient Empire, reckless and amoral naval researchers developed a weapon fueled by stolen souls. The accidental activation of this weapon blasted Crater Bay into existence and created the Anima Ferro Naufragio. These creatures, named by the surviving researchers, are amalgamations of damaged souls animating debris from the ships the weapon destroyed. The researchers attempted to destroy these creatures with an intelligent submersible, the Navis Ferrea. This attempt failed, leaving the construct flooded and damaged on the bottom of the Bay. It includes a history/background for the encounter, a map, and monster stats. The companion ZIP file contains JPEG versions of the maps (with and without grid), the Word file of the encounter, and a Fantasy Grounds Unity Module file.
