User Summary: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, [Select for 2 Players], Start. Need I say more? This was the game that made the Konami code famous. Seriously, they expected you to be able to fight through an endless swarm of bullets and nasty enemies with only 12 lives (3 lives per credit with up to 3 continues)? Even with 30 lives per credit, you'd probably end up continuing at least once (or more...). A single bullet kills you. Falling off the scrolling screen kills you. Touching an enemy kills you. The list goes on, and if you're playing this with quarters, it's sucking them up. You're some sort of commando fighting some sort of alien and/or terrorist force in a jungle and military complex setting. Enough of a setting and plot to justify adrenaline-packed romp through this 8-bit classic. So, grab nearly endless lives, grab a friend, and fight your way up the screen, into the screen, across the screen, and through a glorious adventure. Along the way you'll find a variety of weapons that increase your killing power and the style of shots (spread, fireballs, etc). Keep firing, do your best to dodge bullets, and be glad you remembered to enter the code before the adventure began.
