From the introduction to the book: Conquering Darkness is the final instalment of the Gathering Darkness campaign. This publication follows the same basic pattern of its predecessors - Dark Despair and Grim Pursuits - in that it is mostly scenario with background information on the settlements and roadside inns the players are likely to pass through. Includes the scenario, maps and handouts with NPC statistics, appendices with information on the Nights of Dread, new spells and a gazetteer of Wissenland and Southern Reikland.
