User Summary A turn-based strategy wargame set in the legendary realm of Cascatia. Features medieval and fantasy units and includes resource collection, production, castle defense, and fog of war. Combat resolution is rock-paper-scissors in nature, with optional randomness. Nine scenarios plus a random map generator. A scenario disk added fourteen more scenarios to the base game. Conquered Kingdoms was number 1 on Computer Gaming World's top-100 list in May 1993. The designer, Thurston Searfoss, is also known for The Lost Admiral and Grandest Fleet.
