User summary Conflict Europe is a 16-bit re-implementation of Theatre Europe with expanded functionality and improved graphics. The game presents a simulation of modern war in Europe with the assumption that the conflict will end in a nuclear exchange. Play takes place on a series of maps (strategic, population, and radiation) with major daily events "published" on a teletype screen. David Steel was a developer for both the earlier 8-bit game as well as this 16-bit implementation.
