Commando

Publisher's description: "More than a game... It's an adventure!" "Commando is a bold foray into two exciting gaming fields: combat and role-playing. The historical version is both an intensive simulation and an adventure game, in which the players choose from more than twenty optional rules sections to add realism and esoterica -- anything from tanks to guard dogs to underwater operations. In the role-playing game, players assume a character who, with skill and luck, will live to fight another day while gaining glory and respect. The game includes twelve separate maps, two rules booklets, an historical article tracing the evolution of the commando, two copies of charts and tables, and dice."
