The third edition of Cities was published by Chaosium, had additional material added by Lynn Willis, and had a new color illustrated cover by Dan and David Day. The generic role-playing supplement Cities was devised as a way to generate special specific random encounters to characters while they are adventuring in a major city. The 64-page book includes 60 charts and dozens of sub-tables. A variety of dice are needed to generate the encounters.
