User summary: クロノスレコード (Chronos Record) is a card game using layers to show epochs in history. The game is for three players only. "Brighten the history of our kingdom!" A whim of a king caused a history manipulation war that involved the whole continent. Send your armies, such as knights, mages, and dragons into the past, and gain supremacy of the continent in every epoch. Chronos Record is a three-dimensional area influence card game. This game uses four sheets of 9-pocket TCG protector. Bind these four sheets to form a four-layer playing-field. Each layer represents a certain epoch. The top layer is the present and the bottom layer is the oldest. Each pocket represents a territory. Because each layer is transparent, if you send your army to the oldest epoch, that army is visible (therefore active) until the present, unless another card covers the territory of more recent layer. Each round, players play one card each in any vacant pocket, then score victory points from one randomly chosen epoch, according to the card locations visible from that layer. After the seventh round, for each layer, if a player has the most cards visible from that layer, that player scores victory points. There are 10 types of armies that have various abilities. You need to consider the abilities and synergies when planning your strategy.
