Chipples contains the rules and a few sheets of letter tiles that must be cut apart. Each player has a personal reserve of letter tiles. There is also a common pool of letters. A player may add letters from their reserve to the pool to make a higher scoring word, but opponents may prevent them from scoring the word through play of their own.
