In Chemical Overload young alchemists are training to create potions to impress King. To create a potion, you must first of course purchase an empty flask of the correct size, then by combining and adding the correct chemical combination players will create magical potions. These potions all have various effects and victory point values. Whenever a pile is empty, a Toxin effect is revealed, these toxins will add an end game trigger to the game, once enough toxin cards are exposed and an end condition is met, the lab has become to toxic with chemicals and all alchemists must leave thus ending the game. The player with the most Victory points wins the game! This game is a Deck Building game where some cards remain in your hand and some are tabled for ongoing effects. Flasks remain on the table until used. When a player adds chemicals to the flask and creates a new potion, all chemicals, the flask, and the new potion are placed in the discard pile.
