Game Documentation Excerpts The object of CASTLES & KINGS is to become the sole Ruler of the Realm. This is done by eliminating other contending Warlords and uniting the Kingdom under one Rule. This is not an easy task, as it requires players to use strategy, deception, and constant back stabbing to reach their goal. Sounds like fun eh? CASTLES & KINGS is played in a series of 6 phases. All players take turns, each finishing ONE phase before proceeding to the next. Here is a brief description of every phase in any given round: Phase #1 INCOME ----->> Collect Revenues from Cities Phase #2 MARKET ----->> Fortify, Build, and Recruit Phase #3 TRANSFER --->> Split or Reinforce Existing Units Phase #4 TRAVEL ----->> Move Existing Units Phase #5 BATTLE ----->> Attack and Destroy Enemies Phase #6 UTILITY ---->> Save, Quit, or Continue Game
