In Carrrds!, players compete to gain ownership of the most shreds of a torn up treasure map that leads to the pirate treasure. Each turn, you may ask another player for a piece of a certain map. Each map piece can be identified by a certain symbol such as a hook or a key. Carrrds! becomes extra fun when you throw in the action cards: swords, guns, parrots, voodoo dolls and flags can all be played to introduce an element of chaos and unpredictability into play. There are even unique pirate cards such as the rogue, the gunslinger, and the voodoo lady. Carrrds! is flexible. You don't have to use all the cards. The easiest way to start playing is to just use the island cards, swords and guns. Voodoo dolls, flags, parrots and pirate cards offer some additional gameplay options for intrepid pirates. Expansion: extra action cards Included in the deck are some extra action cards: the pirate flag, the voodoo doll and the parrot. These special cards allow you to interrupt the normal game flow even further. But watch out, the game could get pretty complicated! Expansion: pirate cards Also included in the deck are six unique pirate cards. Each player gets one pirate card that only they can see at the start of play and places it face down in front of them. You can then use your pirate card's ability at any point during the game to surprise another player.
