Publisher's blurb: Young and inexperienced Imperator Aurelius and the senate face a crisis; General Vulnius has declared himself emperor and he is now also gathering support from some senators as well. In this adventure, players shall try to protect a senator as a conspiracy within the senate unfolds and daggers are taken out; they shall be on the receiving very end of intrigue and a bloody power play… The adventure is for 4 characters of 5th level but can be adjusted easily for any party. It shall roughly take 3-4 hours of gameplay and may either serve as a one-shot, or it may be run at the start or middle of a campaign. You don't need to have the Carovea Victor book to run this adventure but of course, being familiar with the setting serves your enjoyment. Statlines for adversaries are included in the appendix.
