This system was also created for people who don’t like being limited to the character options in those books, and would like to create their own. There are only three basic steps that you need to follow in order to play: Step 1: Make a Character. Step 2: Have Adventures. Step 3: Repeat as Desired. Cantrip Fantasy uses six-sided dice. You will need a lot of them. Pencils and paper are helpful, too. Anything else, like miniature figures, funny hats, and snacks are completely optional. The assumption is that at least one person playing is familiar with the basics of tabletop roleplaying, and can act as the guide for the other players.
