Caged Fathoms

"Caged Fathoms A zhiguai xiaoshuo encounter for 5th edition d&d Beneath pale moonlight, the creak of a hanging lantern sounds over a still lake. Thick fog blankets the water and spills onto the surrounding shores. Not even the crickets and frogs dare to draw attention, as from somewhere in the fathoms a distant weeping can be heard: a splash and then a cry for help. Is it an ill-omen? Is someone in trouble? Will your party help? Or will your party become passersby? The decision is up to you. Revisited and released by popular demand, "Caged Fathoms" is a story of Chinese supernatural horror presented as a Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying encounter for four to six adventurers of levels 5-10. You can use this encounter for any adventure that includes aquatic elements." (Author Summary)
