User summary: Characters in the game are recently deceased, living in the "hereafter". When alive, they were not particularly good people and the premise is they are heading to the final judgement and then to some version of purgatory or hell (the game has a distinctly Christian eschatology). But they don't want to miss out on the joys of heaven and thus attempt to cheat their way to a better outcome. Character creation focuses on narrative aspects of the characters' previous lives. The game uses a complex mechanic of paired die rolls compared to the mean value for the die pair; various results may impinge on future events through the use of future modifiers.
