User Summary Breakout is a remake of the original arcade game of the same name. It has the same basic gameplay in which the player controls a paddle and attempts to deflect a bouncing ball into bricks. This re-imagining introduces 3D graphics, new interactive elements, powerups, and multiplayer modes. Additional control options are also offered: the shape and angle of the paddle can be changed to provide more control over the movement of the ball. Breakout features a basic story in which Bouncer the paddle must defeat the evil Batnix in order to rescue his girlfriend Daisy. Numerous enemies such as chickens, knights, and aliens stand in his way.
