Boots of Elvenkind

From publisher blurb: A companion to the vaunted cloak of elvenkind, boots of elvenkind figure just as prevalently in the history of the elven peoples. These pairs of magical boots allow the wearer to walk silently, or at least more quietly, across a host of different terrain. These minor wondrous items are as old as the elven race. The origins of these items is surprising though, and the name is a bit of misnomer, but more on that later. The boots of elvenkind are common enough that most elves are given a pair, with a matching cloak when they come of age.
