Unbeknownst to the adventurers, or even the oracle, the temple fell months ago to Bloody Jenny Baba, a night hag, and her cabal of doppelgangers. Using a magical crystal to observe the oracle’s visitors, the doppelgangers assume their forms and murder these unfortunate victims. The adventure begins when the characters approach the isolated temple.
