A Jagged Alliance Clone Blade Thrust Tactics takes place in a fictional world called Core of which the Idea Empire had invaded the whole world several years ago creating a global autocratic police state empire the people hate. So the Alliance has been formed to fight the giant empire. As the Alliance lacks resources, guerilla war has been adopted of which several small squads has been dispatched to attack several sectors in town occupied by soldiers who works for the Empire. You are in charge of special squad which comprises of talented special operatives but to use their services, you have to pay. The game has 2 gameplay layers on it. On the surface is a challenging real time tactical combat game of which you need to employ your tactical skills to get rid the enemy.
