Between Light & Shadow is the first in a series of roll & write exploration games where players develop their character from a shy village girl to a heroine. In Between Light & Shadow you take on the role of a peasant girl from the village of Habrycg. One day your father sends you away and your adventure begins. You will get to know your world, meet other characters, come back from battles with rich loot. The world and the shadow will present you with tasks. You will need to use your health, gold, and food wisely to successfully overcome hazards and encounters. Your goal is to learn more about your family and father's story. Between Light & Shadow is a multi-chapter story adventure. You can only be successful if you skillfully use your resources and health to acquire Dice manipulations. You must use these dice manipulations judiciously in your fight against beasts of the shadow. You have to plan and carry out movements in the world carefully and in an energy-saving manner. Between Light & Shadow is not just a themed Roll & Write game. Rather, it's a dice Manipulation puzzle and dice placement game.
